September update

I've been working on my second pair of socks but I also finished two pieces.


Double Cable scarf from One Skein by Leigh Radford
Yarn : One skein of Bernat Harmony, 100% acrylic


A cable scarf made for a book shop employee who asked very nicely for one. He wanted blue. It took about 3 days to do on and off. I wanted to knit cables and experiment.






Beaded sarong from Knit.1 spring 2006
Yarn : Trellis one and a half skein plus wood beads

This is for one of my technical clerk. She plans on wearing it, like a scarf, a shawl or a sarong.

Update des travaux de l'été

I learn to do cable during my summer vacation and I started to knit my first pair of socks. I finished the socks last night. Took out the camera this morning and took a few pics of the finished works.



First the socks....







Then the cable wrist band ....



And this my Mom knitted as a gift to me. She knitted those without a pattern just playing with a simple cable stitch pattern. I love them they go perfectly with my fall jeans jacket.





I still have to take pictures of the three clapotis my mom knitted during the summer and my beautiful blue cotton scarf/hat that's been finished since early July. I'm all set to start on my Doctor Who wrist warmers that Rose wore in the season 2 finale as soon as my yarn from Knithappens gets here. ; )
