February's FOs

Premières pantoufles Mary-Jane. I've knitted another pair since and have two almost done. Une orange pamplemousse avec une bordure orange citrouille, une rose fushia avec une bordure mauve et une chocolat avec une bordure érable.




the colours are a bit off. The yellow is more of a butter yellow and the I-cord is not bluish but purple

J'ai aussi terminé et photographié mon chandail Tierra.

I've also taken pictures of my finished Tierra sweater. Finally.





I quite proud of this one piece. It fits me well, I love wearing it. Wore it twice already.

Mes wrist warmers inspirés des wrist warmers de Rose dans l'épisode Doomsday saison 2 Doctor Who. Yarn Debbie Bliss alpaca silk dk.

Started on my Rose's wrist warmers from Doomsday again. I had frogged them after a disastrous accident involving pulling out a DPN of all its stitches. That was my first real attempt at cable way back when (summer 2006). I'm more experienced now so I can start again with my wonderful Debbie Bliss alpaca silk dk yarn in celery.

Lopi tote bag

J'ai finalement aussi feutré mon sac Lopi durant les vacances de Noël. Il a été tricoté durant l'année 2006.

Finally felted my Tote bag in Blue Lopi. Didn't exactly follow the pattern since I didn't have enough to make it as big as the pattern.

Cosima de Hip Knit Hats

I've finally put the finishing touches on my variation of Cosima from Hip Knit Hats

It's in one colour (Briggs and Little Tuffy in Oatmeal) instead of 2 colours and I added 3 braided tassels on top of the hat.

J'ai enfin terminé ma variation de Cosima tiré de Hip Knit Hats. J'ai ajouté 3 glands sur le dessus du chapeau et utilisé seulement une seule couleur de laine (Tuffy (Avoine) de Briggs and Little) trouvé chez Rossy.

Nouveau projet

I came home and started a scarf because I am getting restless and bored with my collar stole (I still have a ball and a half to knit). I got the scarf pattern from the KnittingDaily newsletter from Interweave Press.

So I started on the Connections red Scarf in red Bernat Cotton while watching Heroes on DVD.

Le foulard Connections est assez intéressant et demande une certaine attention ce qui me permet de ne pas m'ennuyer contrairement à l'étole qui en ce moment m'ennuie un peu. Encore environ 15 pouces à produire avant d'attaquer le collet. Boring.
